DeKalb County RAMP will host the E3 Conference which will share information for parents and educators on transitioning youth successfully into young adulthood. RAMP’s mission is to build an inclusive community that encourages individuals with disabilities to reach their full potential. The key to accomplishing this is through education and partnerships with our community members.
The E3 Conference will feature keynote speaker Dr. Timothy Wahlberg who has been developing life-changing strategies for families with children on the autism spectrum for nearly 25 years. He is a local and national speaker on autism and neuro-developmental delay and is the author of a book for parents, “Finding the Gray; Understanding and thriving in the Black and White World of Autism and Asperger’s.” Wahlberg is a member of the American Psychological Association and Founder and Clinical Director of The Prairie Clinic in Geneva, IL. He believes knowledge is power for families who are working as a team with educators to find the tools that will allow for their children to reach their goals.
